So I just realized I have to go swimming with my wife's family in 4 weeks at a hotel pool... I have to hide my "progress" as to not draw attention to myself while playing with my children... any ideas?...

Look for some kind of scuba shirt... or a vest...

Yeah... I was thinking a tight underarmor shirt with a t shirt over...

There are kind of swimming vests made of foam... they go from above the belly to the shoulders.
You might say that way you have your hands free to play with the children.
