For those of you who use dating apps, which ones have you had luck with?
I'm on Tinder and OkCupid right now, tried a few others but have gotten too many creeps.
i feel like i don't get creeps on dating sites because i don't mention i'm transgender right off the bat. i don't feel like it is anyones business until i actually WANT to date them, etc. i'm also straight (idk if you are) so i feel like women aren't as "creepy" as men are when it comes to dating sites and mentioning i'm transgender. maybe that is just my experience though.
I don't mention that I'm trans on my page or anything but I tend to get creeps in the sense of mostly older guys who like how young I look. or guys who just straight up ask for me to do certain things for them -_- I've noticed some places tend to have more forwardly sexual people and others have more people looking for relationships.
Also I'm bi and I mostly experience men being creepy, not so much women.
I'm on okcupid and have trans on my profile. I am lucky to even get a message.

You might add something like you're looking for a long term partnership...
and maybe something like romantically inclined...
might also help attract more women :)

You might get active yourself...
complimenting people on something...
or writing about something you have in common with...
Hey Dean,
I wasn't a fan of Tinder. I didn't have any issues getting responses from the right crowd, but wasn't a fan of the app itself. As far as getting responses goes, I'd probably match with 2-3 girls per day. But I live in a city. So YMMV if you're from somewhere smaller than DC. I did put in my profile that I was trans.
OkCupid is my favorite. I haven't tried it with the new gender options, but before I just set my profile to male and tagged keywords so that I'd pop up in trans/queer searches. About the same response rate as Tinder, but generally better quality and more of what I was looking for. I think the key with success here is messaging people. You won't have a ton of luck if you're just sitting back and waiting for messages to come to you. Quick match and answer questions. Take advantage of free boosts that they offer, it'll increase your profile traffic.
I also put my Tumblr link and my gamertag in my profile. Had a bunch of people add/follow me on those and message me there as opposed to on site/through the app.
