The House of Commons could soon have toilet facilities for transgender people.

It's one of a string of new changes set to be implemented by House Speaker John Bercow in a bid to make parliament less sexist.

The progressive Speaker is also thinking about repealing a ban on MPs breastfeeding during debates in the house, installing more toilets for women and changing the house paintings to feature more women."

Can someone please explain to me how a "transgender toilet" differs from any other toilet (and why, therefore, transgender people NEED different toilets)?
