From Disney, it is too much to ask for. Though in the design of the plot may be slightly obscured, in my truthful opinion.
Maybe in a way in which a plot would go by, maybe more beneficial to have an outcast type setting, which ultimately will take a resolve much like the story of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in the telltale of the hero going through a background of having identity issues, though having a deity in which guides the best possible ways for an ultimate form of acceptance in either bringing his or her past to break free of the vices, and then throughout the acceptance from family, peers, love interests, etc... Ultimately aiming for that happily ever after of global acceptance. It may be a bit of an interest to go forth as a f2m aspect since that would have a bit more wiggle room to underline aspects to life in the fantasy base of Pixar or Disney.

Quote from: ThaliaNyx on November 11, 2015, 10:23:34 AMPlot: Some ordinary guy wakes up one day and ends up getting cursed; eventually, within the first fifteen minutes, he's turned into a girl. At first, (s)he's pretty upset by this, so (s)he sets off on a grand adventure to find a cure for the curse. Along the way, (s)he gets help from his/her family and friends, perhaps even falls in love. In the end, after making it to the cure, (s)he realizes that being a girl isn't so bad, and gives the cure to the rival who's been trying to get the cure first for the entire movie. The End. Then there can be a montage of her adapting to her new life: makeup, clothes, et cetera. The world accepts her and she lives happily ever after or whatnot.

Turn it off 15 mins early and it's an FTM movie.  ;)

They are not transgender if they are distressed about waking up as  a girl.

The problem with that plot is that it reinforces the false idea that gender ID is a simple choice anyone can make.  It undermines the position that Trans is real.

They already made that movie in 1991.  It was called "Switch" and it starred Ellen Barkin.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103016/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103016/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1)

Sorry, you're right. It wasn't a very good idea. I just thought that Disney would want to do something magic-y... Wait!

How about a Cinderella-esque movie where the main character is trans but can't admit it, and his evil stepmother and sisters rub his face in the fact that he can't be a girl. Then he meets his fairy godmother and she turns him into a girl for the night. The main character now goes off to some party where stuff happens and she runs out right before midnight, knowing that she'll be turned into a boy again. The story goes on similarly to Cinderella, until the part where the prince gets to the main character's house. He walks inside, tries the slipper on the stepsisters, and then the boy comes out and puts his foot into the slipper and turns back into a girl. Stuff happens, the end.

But, then again, that's more like a parody than an actual movie.

I was thinking the other day it would of been great if in Inside Out they showed a female bodied child with their emotions appearing as all male or vice versa for mtfs. Oh well, missed opportunity :)
