Next year I am planning on visiting the US and Canada for a holiday :)
I spend very little time as a boy and hate wearing a binder as it hurts so much and would prefer not to travel as one, however I have not changed my passport yet and do not plan to until late next year.
I am wondering if I would have problems given I look nothing like the boy in the passport photo?
Have you changed your name? Are you full time? Maybe it's time to update your passport...??
I spend about 70% of my life as a girl and 30% as a boy and don't plan to fully transition until late next year so I can't change my passport yet. I have done plenty of domestic traveling and I just cross out my boy name and write Cathy on the boarding pass and no one has ever had a problem with it.
I holding Thailand passport where we can not change our sex in passport. I went to Japan, Hong Kong, USA several times with my passport as male. No problem so far, some immigration officer just keep look up down on my face and passport for a while before ask me normal immigration question and let me go. But you may find some difficulty in some countries like some middle east countries where they are strict Muslim rules, try not to go to those countries. And I heard that Hong Kong immigration are more strict on trans from Asia and South America, but my own experiences I got no problem. And China are more strict with issuing Visa for transgender.
