Title: I'm Not Going To Hold My Breath
Post by: TG CLare on December 01, 2015, 01:22:01 PM
Hello everyone!

Well, for the first time in over 30 years I went for a real job interview. I retired early 2 years ago but have decided to get back in the work rat race for a few more years.

Anyway, when I was called into the office, there was 2 people there to interview me consisting of a man and a woman. The woman seemed alright with me and commented on how nice I looked. The man on the other hand looked at me like I was dressed like a circus clown or worse.

The interview went well, he didn't ask much just basically looked at me (I know that look!) and she asked about qualifications, and experiences, starting dates. Afterwards she said that they were only going to contact those they had short listed for further review and thanked me for coming in. Rather than taking me back out through the reception area, I was shown out a side door.

So, I don't think I'll be holding my breath waiting for that job.

Love,
Clare
