I am an infrequent poster, but I might be leaning more towards some level of transition possibly involving HRT. I am a pilot in training (currently working on my CFI) if you are a profession pilot with a Class 2 or 1 FAA Medical Cert I need some help regarding the FAA medical process. I understand bringing in support documentation to an AME from a therapist and endo, but what about when starting HRT?
Do I need to immediately reapply for my medical when I start HRT or do I update during my next medical and go through the deferment process? Right now this is a major question and issue casting a shadow over my determination to transition or not.
