Hello; My name is Lonnie and I am a 64 year old transgender female. I have only been transitioning for about 5 months and feel very comfortable in my new skin. I have always want to become a women but while working in a male dominated field of construction, I never had the time nor the money to explore this. Now that I am retired I have both the time and the money to devote. Even though it has only been 5 months, I feel happier than I can ever remember being. I am looking forward to possibly making some new friends here and I want to say that my transition is not about sex but about how I am as a person. I have always felt feminine and now I can make that a reality. Please if you want to know me then drop me a line.

Welcome to Susan's Place. I am 64 years old as well but I had my surgery in 1982. There is plenty of information here and I am sure you will get to know some of the people around here. Your PMs will become active at 15 post and that will allow you one on one chats with others out of the view of the public.
Feel free to ask me any question you might have about the site or myself. If I don't know the answer I can tell you where to look for it.
Welcome, I just joined myself but I'd like to welcome you.
Welcome im a newb too lol

Hi Lonnie and welcome to Susan's. Congratulations on beginning your transition.
:)
Welcome to Susan's Place! As you will see, there's lots to see and learn but the best thing is you are among people who know what it's like to be who we are.
Don't be afraid to ask any questions as someone will be able to answer them. The only foolish question is one that is never asked.
Love,
Clare
