ENDA to be separated into two bills, one for sexual orientation and one for gender identity

The ENDA bill without trans-inclusion will be marked up by the chamber's Education and Labor Committee next Tuesday so that it can be sent it to the House floor for a vote, Steven Adamske, a spokesperson for Rep. Frank, told The Advocate.
I know some people are angry and let down about this, but I prefer to just think of it as a delay. We'll get there. I know that for a fact.

I wish I could share your optimism, Rebis, but I think that once the GLB have the laws they want, the majority will ignore and neglect us the same way other political entities do now. We are too few and too politically weak for anything other to happen.
