"Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), a standard treatment for prostate cancer, may lead to double the rate of of Alzheimer's disease, according to a just-published Stanford/University of Pennsylvania study using a big-data retrospective approach to clinical research. "
The difference from us being that they don't replace testosterone with estrogen. Don't women have a lower incidence of Alzheimer's?

Thanks. One more good argument for continuing HRT for life.
nothing is stopping this locomotive
I agree. Every time I have an unusual ache or pain I wonder if it's dangerous and from HRT. The next, affirming, thought is that even if it kills me in a week nothing will stop this for the rest of my life. A week transitioning versus 50 more years not? The second isn't life, it's the less desirable Christian afterlife that I don't believe in!
My dad had Alzheimer's. The doctor contributed that with his alcoholism. The HRT is keeping my PSA levels down as that was over the top before getting on HRT. Mine nor two of my sisters' DNA tests show no known markers for Alzheimer's either. So far, so good.
