Title: Low Dose HRT Side Effects?
Post by: Christina308 on December 14, 2015, 02:37:41 AM
Is there any information available concerning the common side effects of low dose HRT, such as headaches and fatigue? I'm three weeks into this and i'm having some real improvements. I'm also having a real problem with the negatives, as mentioned above. Is this common?

Headaches, fatigue, hot flashes, etc.

I had it happen on accident after I had surgery. I tried going to an estrogen cream and we had the dose way too low. I went almost 6 months before I saw my doc again and in the meantime had a lot of fatigue, hot flashes, and emotional issues. Went right back to oral Estrogen afterward and it all improved.

I just started "low dose" a few days back and I have noticed my muscles aching quite a bit. I have a very physical job so I just figured it's the lowering of my testosterone causing this. It's caused me to have a couple tension headaches, but not migraines.. and I hope I don't get those because I hate them. I've also been experiencing strange sensations in my chest... sometimes itchy, sometimes pressure, sometimes just pain. Otherwise everything has been going quite well.
