I have been challenged to wear a bullet bra under a tight sweater for the New Year (like Marilyn Monroe or Jayne Mansfield, but not that I could attempt to come anywhere near their boob projection!).
But the sizing seems problematic. These bras are of cotton and don't stretch like modern ones.
For modern elasticated bras, you measure round your ribcage, and that's the band size. Then you measure over your boobs, and the increase gives the cup size: 1" more is A cup, 2" more is B cup etc.
I now measure 38/41, making me 38 B or so, and modern bras of this size generally fit me quite well.
How can I translate these measurements to a non-stretch bullet bra?
There is a secondary issue, which had not occurred to me until I read about it. That is, in a bullet bra, the breast tissue was forced into the cones and the boobs were moulded to the pointy cups.
So for normal women, the cups perhaps needed to be a bit full to accommodate their breast tissue. I am a bit long and pointy, as a result of my nipple pumping regime, so I might well fit into a conical cup quite nicely, and for me, a pointy bra cup might be really comfortable, allowing me to wear my nipplefunwear teats quite securely.
Band size stay the important measure, and the do stretch but not as much.
So i would start with a 38 :angel:
The cups are more rigid not the malleable cups of today,and the have to be,to keep the pointy shape.

The bullet bra came today and it is fabulous! I normally fit a 38 band, but as these bras are not elasticated, I went up to 40.
It still fits me quite tightly, but these bras are meant to be worn tight and it will stretch a bit.
Getting into the cups requires a bit of squeezing, as you need to get your full volume into the base of the cone, then work the nipples into the points.
Once in and settled, the bra is very comfortable with oodles of control, and absolutely no wobble. I think the very deep side panels are nice as the push all of me into the cups.
The straps are about double the width of a modern bra and don't cut at all. At the rear, they locate very wide apart, so you would think they would slip down, but they don't.
The combination of the wide set straps and the thin low back band means that you could easily wear this bra with a low back dress or top.
Yes the make you poke out a eye >:-) But i must admit i love them to.
