Hi people!! I'm just wondering where to start in shopping and how to get a new wardrobe in a smart and economic way. I have three or four girl tops, some sweaters and a couple of trousers.. Then three or four dresses and a pair of cute winter boots that I bought yesterday :D
How can I organize next steps for a new wardrobe?
Thrift and nice 2nd hand stores are a great place to start. I love fast fashion stores like H&M because you can literally buy stylish jeans and jeggings for like $10 sometimes. Sure the quality may limit their lifetime, but still....$10
We were in H&M last weekend, and they had $1 rack shorts and cropped T's and $3 racks full of tops.
Wrong section, you'll get more replies in in the MTF section. anyways I started ordering cloths online. forever 21 is pretty cheap I also sometimes order on amazon for cloths too. you can also try places like goodwill, salvation army or any other second hand shops like that.
Also if your under 18 or just don't have a credit card you can just buy a gift card at the drug store and then use that to order online.
I find lots of good things at Old Navy (online, mostly). Do you have a "Mode Plus" nearby? They also have lots of fun clothes for decent prices, especially closeouts, similar to Forever 21, I think. Mind you, I'm generally looking for larger sizes (18-22), so you may not have the same constraints. Have fun shopping!!
I tend to hit the sales at Penny's, Macy's and DSW. After you buy s few things, they also start sending coupons for $10.00 off a $25.00 purchase. If you are on a 60% off rack, you can get two $40.00 tops for $22.00 total.
Hugs
