Ive been here a few days and ive read my of the topics but i still have a few questions. So ive known i was different for a LONG time and its not like what ive read here mostly. My family has always been supportive my boyfriend is also supportive (as long as i keep my dangly bits which i am ok with) and my friends could care less. Ive been the one holding myself back for so many years out of fear mostly although i am still young.(25) I finally found the drive and strength to be me. (yey me) As to my questions how long until i should see any noticeable results? What are your opinions on Estradiol, Spironolactone, and Finasteride combo? How long did it become comfortable for you to be called by female pronouns. Any advice? Thanks :) BTW im Bethany.
The proper mix of hormones to give you the best results can only be determined by an endocrinologist.
No one on this site can give you better advice!
As for pronouns? Whenever you feel like!
Cindy that is what im on prescribed by my endo. Just curious as to others experience with such a set.
The interactions vary greatly form person to person, age, metabolism, fitness... we all respond differently.
Finasteride has mildly similar properties to Spiro, but is generally used as relief for MPB... Spiro is an anti-androgen...
The effects do take time, some quicker than others, remember that Natal females take many, many years to reach female body shape maturity... for us we have to teach our bodies to undo all those years of testosterone doing the opposite :(
FWIW I started at 50'ish and (apart from hips and bum) doing OK.. but its a slow process.
Chat with your endo about the journey, it may be a bit early yet though..
Oh welcome to Susan's too xxx

It's pretty well been covered, but I will say that getting used to being referred to the female pronouns and my responding took a small amount of time even though I was ready the reaction just to respond quickly and naturally didn't happen right off the bat. Hugs
