I know everyone in the FtM have different attractions, but I was wondering if its common for a FtM to date or find attractive a "MtF" who lives life as a guy, and has a mildly butch image.
I am considering dating a ftm because I think they may relate to me the most, since Im a feminine person who decides to stay male.
I am attracted to masculinity, and not the body parts.
So would it be hard to date a trans person who wont transistion? Thank you.
I haven't fully labelled myself as ftm... But... I kinda have such experience. I wasn't put off by male genitals, as I'm bi/pan. She was a damn hot girl!
Now I'm starting to get involved again... With another person. And the thing I'm afraid of is related to my body. Not if she will transition.
Would it be hard? No. Not for such a reason.

Personally, I wouldn't. I've dated other trans folks in the past, and their dysphoria plus mine was awful. The only way I could see it working is if we were both in maintenance mode, post-transition. And that's often pretty hard to come by, at least in my experience.
I would especially worry about dating someone that won't transition - "won't" being the key word. I know that transition is personal and it looks different for everyone. The medical community has agreed that transition is the cure for gender dysphoria. My worry would be that the person isn't addressing their dysphoria or trying to do anything about it. That would create extra baggage, and it isn't something I'd want to expose myself to.
Absolutely! I dated a MTF and she was absolutely amazing! We looked like a straight cis couple lol. We always got a kick out of that. But, as far as if THEY will date YOU...that shouldn't be the question. Would YOU date THEM? It's all about what's on the inside and if your personalities click then go for it.
