Hi Everyone
Back a few years ago I was on my way back from and Oncology appointment in Boston when I thought something funny was going on between my doctor and my three sisters. I guess they asked her if I could have a few drinks on the way home and she said why not it won't hurt anything. Well we all stopped at the Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus. Well we went In and orders some appetizers and My sisters ordered a Scorpion Bowl Well me being stupid and naive there were 4 straws coming out of it so they said let go for it. Now remember I have never in my life had one of them so I knew nothing about the strength of it. Well my sisters got me plastered and 2 of them are hair dressers. So instead of taking me home they took me to my sister Terry's salon and told me that they were giving me a hot oil treatment in my hair and they had to set it in under the hair dryer. My Hair was Silver White. Well my twin sister Dawn has the same color hair that we had when we were kids Ash Blonde. I was wondering why they wouldn't let me look in the mirror. My hair at the time was about down to my shoulders and I like it. After a while my sisters must have thought that I was sobering up to much because they started making coffee and gave me some too but the only difference was mine had the Kailua and Baileys as theres did but two times as much. So they took me home and brought me in and put me to bed. At 4am in the morning my usual time to get up and head for the bathroom. I went in turned the light on and I have a big mirror in there when I walked by the mirror I screamed like a wild lady in horror as I thought that someone else was in the bathroom with me. It was just me and then I was in Shock as my sister Dawn said you are my twin and If you are going to be a women then you have to have the same hair as me! LOL.
I love my sisters and we do have a blast together at time for sure.

That was a cute story :)
For me the funniest thing during my transition phase, before I went full time, was at a staff Christmas lunch in 2013. It was a freaking hot day (Sydney, summertime) and all the women were wearing great summer dresses which in itself was a bit depressing to me since I couldn't, but I kept telling myself "next year, you will too". Now about two days earlier I had given myself the gift of a full body wax... arms, legs, chest, underarms, butt... uh, TMI maybe... and I was wearing a short sleeved shirt and a pair of knee length shorts. It was post lunch and we were all sitting around a large coffee table, chatting and drinking when all of a sudden one of the women suddenly commented on my legs being smooth and hairless. She was a cyclist and wondered out aloud if I had shaved them for cycling as many guys also do that. With a huge grin I said "nope, full body wax".
This was clearly very fascinating to the female contingent around the table (comprising about 85%, I think). She wanted to know why and I just laughed and said "why not?" Three women there (including my boss) who already knew I was trans and that I was on HRT and in the process of transitioning were kind of in on the joke but said nothing. The other women were really fascinated while the two guys, both of whom were very hairy, seemed to blanch a little. A "man" getting a wax job is still fairly unheard of after all! The first woman asked if she could have a feel of my legs and I said "be my guest" and she did. I know that sounds a bit weird or kinky but considering we were all a bit tipsy, very relaxed and friendly and I had a huge crush on her it was one of the happiest moments of my life!!!! :D
It was great being the centre of attention of a bunch of women like that, I was so close to just blurting out that I was trans. Considering I had a number of drinks in me by that stage it was amazing that I could keep my mouth zipped!
Anyway, it was a fun and funny little moment... still makes me smile fondly. When I came out at work three months later and transitioned to full time I think it really answered a lot of questions from that Christmas lunch!
Just thought I'd share this since it's on topic :)
