Title: FFS w/Facial Team on January 27th
Post by: spaceships on January 01, 2016, 04:02:09 PM
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm getting FFS in less than 4 weeks and I'll be posting results shortly afterwards.

In the mean time, since I still can't post images or anything because I have less than 15 posts, here is an imgur album of what I look like without makeup and not really trying to pass...except for the one with the Halloween costume ;p

Hello and welcome!

Yaaay, I'm so happy for you! FFS is a life changer. Your nose is so cute and pointy, it reminds me of Megan Fox's nasal tip!

What procedures are you having done? I think you're very cute already, so I'm expecting a great result!

I'm getting forehead reconstruction (includes contouring and brow lifts), rhinoplasty, chinplasty, mandible contouring. I'm super excited! I'm cutting my budget a little close though lol

Spaceships, does the price of forehead reconstruction include everything? Like brow lift, bossing removal, orbital shave, hairline lowering etc?
Title: Re: FFS w/Facial Team on January 27th
Post by: spaceships on January 04, 2016, 07:28:55 PM
I don't think it includes hairline lowering, but it includes L/R browlifts and type 3 forehead reconstruction

Wait, so that would mean they charge extra for hairline lowering? I thought that's usually included in forehead reconstruction  ???

Not sure, sorry! My quote just says eyebrow lifts and forehead contouring in brackets.

Usually it is with most surgeons. But Facial team likes to promote "their" coronal incision and sell you hairtransplants.

I know that with Suporn everything is included, brow lifts, hairline lowering and contouring with transplants, blepharoplasty etc, but his also costs a fortune.

I just spoke with one of the facial team chicks who works there, and she said that hairline lowering is included in forehead reconstruction, but I still don't know about the coronal incision procedure and if it costs extra.

No coronal incision doesn't cost anything extra. If you choose hairtransplant option that costs extra.

Oh so coronal incision is included in the price of forehead reconstruction?
Title: Re: FFS w/Facial Team on January 27th
Post by: Lagertha on January 05, 2016, 04:37:06 PM
Well, they need to do incision if they want to do forehead reconstruction. So yes, incision is included :)

First time I have heard someone call the FT patient coordinators "Chicks" but hey why not ...  ;), I am sure they would not mind.

Hi y'all,

Since we're on the topic of coronal incision, does Facial Team do the brow lift with endotines (which I assume hold the skin up)? I notice there is a brow lift effect in the after photos. Any pros and cons about that vs the one with hairline incision?

I am after a subtle effect so I think this might be ideal for me.
Title: Re: FFS w/Facial Team on January 27th
Post by: Lagertha on January 11, 2016, 07:13:33 AM
They use endotines. In case of coronal incision, browlift can be done with or without endotines. It's just surgeons personal preference. It's little harder to achieve desired browlift effect with coronal incision, and this is a reason why some surgeons use endotines.

In case of hairline incision, endotines generally aren't used, unless if a hairline is very receded and a lot further back.

There is no difference to browlift effect with hairline or coronal incision.
