Post by: Stephaniie on January 04, 2016, 11:43:43 AM

I had surgery in 9th December .

I didn't even bother exploring until around month 3. But I did have an O in my dream around 1 month mark. And again, everyone healed at a different rate.

From what I've read its quite normal to have either hypersensitivity or none, and it can take up to a year to get back to normal.

What AnonyMS said is right, orgasm's also vary. I started exploring after I'd had them in my sleep and was fairly confident I wasnt going to break anything

It depends on healing and the rate your swelling goes down. The lower limit might be as low as 6 week and as long as a year or more. I felt nerves reconnecting past the two year mark. I would be very careful about exploring before the 3 month mark as the tissue is still healing and you risk damage with over exuberant play. At this point, don't worry about everything working because give enough healing time, it should.

yes for sure be very gentle, think I was 2.5 months. Don't just go silly with a magic wand etc

For me the first climax was about 8 weeks post-op ... Hear what your doctor says and what feels right for you, but to be very gentle is a good advice. I used a hitachi 10 weeks post-op and yes - it was quite too intense, i got numb after a few minutes, blood came - so i suggest to explore only with the own gentle hands :)

I know this thread is a few days old but my take on it.

The numbness will go away, for some it takes a very long time others is happens fairly quickly.
For me it happened fairly quickly and I wish it didn't TBH.
I had a little pain that ended up going away, soon pain turned to nothing but a normal feeling.

As for orgasms, as much as I saw it as a vagina I also saw it as a "wound" and touching it worried me, the last thing was somehow this is to be used for sex.
It wasn't until about 12 weeks later that those thoughts started to change, I started to think of it as a vagina everytime I saw it.

I started to play around, I learned what I liked and what was working, I didn't orgasm for a while but when I did, boy it was great.

I'm now a very sexual person, I understand the power it brings and the enjoyment
