So I was hoping to do my shots SubQ instead of IM because I've heard that it keeps the T more stable and prevents hormonal fluctuations. I've also heard they're easier, don't hurt as much, cause less anxiety, etc. Can anyone tell me their experience with either way- also my prescription says Depo-Testosterone 100 mg/mL Intramuscular Solution. Can this still be used subcutaneously? My practitioner says yes but I'm still kind of wary.

Yes, all vials of T say that they are for IM but can be injected subq. I am not sure there are any conclusive studies regarding subq being a more stable option than IM. The majority of guys I would say are on IM, with a smaller percentage that do subq, and an even smaller percentage that use some other means (gels/creams, pellets).
Personally, I do not see much of a difference. I know I'd never be able to inject in my stomach. I don't think I'd feel any better/worse using a smaller needle or going at a different angle in my thigh. Anxiety goes away with experience. It stops being something that you're apprehensive about and turns into that thing you have to do once a week.
I picked subq over IM
-yes all vials say IM, they're TECHNICALLY only approved for IM but studies have shown no difference between the two.
-my anxiety has gone WAY down. I used to do IM and I'd get very upset, I'd faint, it'd take forever. After switching to subq my anxiety is a lot less and I get a little faint sometimes but not nearly as badly.
-pain honestly depends. I attribute it more to the needle gauge and location, some spots just hurt like a bitch and others are completely numb. Overall I do think it hurts less but I've certainly had a few that top some of my IMs.
With subq the most common spot is stomach but I've also heard of inner thigh (where I was told to do it, but I asked if stomach was ok bc I preferred it) and part of the butt.
