"In the year since "Transparent" shocked the industry at the 2015 Golden Globes, it feels like all of pop culture is transitioning.
Amazon's series about a husband and father, played by Jeffrey Tambor, who surprises his family by changing gender, won Globes for best comedy and best comedy actor and followed up with five Emmys, giving a voice to a segment of the population that often faces discrimination."
I love it! So good to see the trans subject becoming so prevalent in modern media. It just shows what a difference independent media networks like Amazon Prime and Netflix have made to television.

Let's not forget all the behind the camera tran folks that bring you the Golden Globe Awards.
When Transparent won last year it was extremely emotional. Thankfully no one noticed me sobbing in the rear of the production truck. So happy our stories are getting told!
Thank you,
Anne
