Hello Everyone,

I've been visiting this website's forums on and off for it seems like many years now. However, this is the first time I decided to start taking part in the community.

The actual reason I decided to join, was for unfortunately selfish reasons... I need advice! On the other hand, I will try to be supportive for sure in any way I can.

Anyways, I'll find another category to post my "long" story to as I don't want to burden everyone with a novel. Long story short, I'm 27, living in Houston, Texas, been through 3 therapist over the past 4 years and I'm about to start with my 4th.

I believe 2016 is my year to finally find some clarity in the midst of all this confusion that I call my mind.

Absolutely NOTHING wrong with being selfish.
For too long many of us have held in our true selves because of how it may or may not impact others.

We need to think of ourselves in these matters or we end up holding in things we should never repress!

I experienced years and years of pain from worrying about how others felt over myself.

So don't be afraid of being selfish. We all need to be sometimes.
