Post by: Shonjon15 on January 13, 2016, 12:42:36 PM
Im freakin out cuz my dr told me at the beginning that T turns to E if u put too much. Im scared now that my T has started to turn back to E since I started my Period this week and I havent had one since the second month I was on it. Im 1yr and a month on T and I got my period this week wtf is happening.
Has anyone else expirenced this? If so what do u think it could b?
I have recently been spending a lot of time wit my new gf who was on her period last week, am I syncing with her? My god I hope not! This is my worst

There are many reasons why this could have happened.
I have no medical beakground, but as you state, higher E levels could cause this. But also if your uterus was already lined, and slowly lining up some more due to lower levels of E, it could shed eventually. Other causes could be a popped vein, polyps etc. I doubt there are any doctors here, so if the bleeding keeps up for a few days, have a check with your doctor.
Also, it is true that excess T gets converted to E. But this happens in fat cells. I would assume that if you are a skinny person, it would be less of an issue. For example, I got my bloodwork results back this week. My T levels were high (43 nmol/l), but my E levels were low (70 pmol/l). So high T levels do not automatically mean you have high E levels.

You should probably go get your levels checked. You many need more t or less t in your system. Both an easy fix. Good Luck!

Definitely talk to your doc.  ISTR my doc saying that if bleeding starts back up after it has stopped it could be endometriosis or some other problem with AFAB parts that should be dealt with.
