I've been trying to work on my shaving skills, and I've thing that I've noticed is that, when I shave my face, the areas where the hair used to be are darker than the rest of my face. I haven't really noticed too much of this on the rest of my body, so is there some reason behind this? (In case it helps, I have brown hair, and the dark areas kind of have a greyish-er tone than the rest of my skin.) Also, is there any way I can get rid of this short of using foundation (which I don't want to do because I have really bad acne)?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
It's stubble. You would need to get laser if you dont want to cover with foundation.
Facial hair tends to be coarser that the hair that show up elsewhere on the body. If you have a very dark beard you are actually lucky because it often is less dense and easer to clear with laser or electrolysis. Unless you are sensitive to something in the makeup, foundation shouldn't make your acne worst as I have had a history of acne and makeup never cause me to break out. When you get on the blocker/HRT, your skin should clear up. You may still have acne but it will be much better.
