I recently discovered that I have VERY little chest sensation - if pressure is applied I am aware of it, however I can't feel most contact.
I've worn binder(s) for coming up to 2 years now, and I'm wondering if this is a side effect from binding or an issue that should be dealt with (which isn't ideal, I'm not very comfortable with my chest).
Anyone got any info?
Thanks in advance
It could be from binding; however, when I was pre top surgery I had very little feeling in my chest. I guess maybe it had to do with having a disconnection from my chest. I'm post op now and although I have spots that are numb due to surgery, I have much more feeling now than before.

I don't feel it much either. I haven't had surgery yet. It's like it has less nerve endings in it or something.
I can dig my nails into it or squeeze and there's way less pain there (if any on the sides and below) than if I do the same thing on another part of my body.
I don't wear a binder much either
It's not uncommon for trans guys to have a disconnection with their chest. :)

Some people simply have less sensitivity in their chest than others, regardless of their mental feelings about their chest. I don't bind and I've never had much feeling, and neither does my female friend who enjoys her breasts. If I'm not looking and someone tries to play with my nips, I honestly usually don't even know they're doing it, and my friend is the same way.
If you used to have feeling and it's started to go away over the years, it's probably from the binding. Unless you really enjoyed having sensation in your chest, I wouldn't worry about it.
