and it was gravy. If only everything would be that easy. Have no problems whatsoever. Have a lot of questions. But, really, chill, excepting people. 2 Down, how many left? lololol
Im glad it went so well. There are alot of horror stories outbthere so its good to read one that went off without a hitch. Good for you girl
Congrats! That first time telling a non-professional is pretty scary, but telling people gets easier, mostly.
Friends are friends precisely because they're okay with the real you, even if you feel like you're hiding it well. All my friends sort of saw it coming, but they all thought I was going to tell them I was gay. Still didn't cause them to skip a beat.
Oh my gosh that's awesome it worked out so well!!
I hope I'm so fortunate when I drop the news. As you say, if they kinda suspect something it may soften the blow.
Either way though it'll sure make an interesting story.
You have great friends.
Congratz!! :icon_chick:
Just wanted to say that since I wrote this post I dress out most days. Not at work yet, but outside for sure. A lot of fun, since I have a super-supportive group of friends. Still working on hair removal, then hrt starting in the next 6 months. I can wait. There are some things I have to take care of this summer and this will make it easier. Also, my endo has a 6-9 month waiting list, eek!!

omg yes! This was me a year ago. Now I'm out to all but work and two family members, with work coming very soon. I'm alive!
Same here. About a year ago I told 3 people, the ones I was sure would be accepting. Now everybody including work knows.
