Title: Wig 1st Looks & Fitting
Post by: Jacqueline on January 28, 2016, 09:22:10 AM
Morning all,

Not a big deal for many I am sure. However, I am about to go try on some wigs after being measured and narrowing general shapes down last week.

A little nervous as this may finally start to define my new look. There is no way I can grow my own hair back, even with HRT starting(gulp) tomorrow. So this is both exciting and I am a little nervous. I have only seen glimpses of what I may become, externally. Perhaps this will help.

With some nerves,

Joanna

Big hug! Are you just window shopping or are you buying one today? Don't forgot to buy a styrofoam head too.

Hugs, Devlyn

Little different than I thought. It was narrowing down color and size.

Found a color we like and a size. Now we have scheduled a cut in. The wigs are longer than any of the styles I am interested in. So, I go back next Tuesday, put it on and they style it to my head/face.

I have been really nervous about posting any picture of myself anywhere. However, I may need some advice. I have been to some of those virtual make over sites and tried on different hair styles and saved the images. I have had trouble seeing my whole face in a mirror so... If I felt brave enough to post a few, could I get some feedback on which style folks like best? I guess I could even do a separate thread as a poll? Any thoughts would be welcome. I am pretty fixated on my own negative attributes, so, I could do without any of that...

Thanks,

Joanna

You can add a poll to this thread, too. Your call.   :)
