Brittney was born Brandon Morrison, a "geeky" and quiet boy who liked to play with Barbies and hang out with the girls.

A brave teenage boy who was bullied out of school has told how becoming a woman has changed her life.

Pretty Brittney Kade, who was born Brandon Morrison, was once picked on so badly, she was terrified to face her peers at school.

Yes the Mirror is known for going for sensational headlines, but the story is actually pretty positive with a supportive mother helping her transition. But I have to admit to being jealous of not being born now when people are more accepting than 60 years ago.

I particularly like Brittany's line of better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you aren't.
