I dont think I pass so thats not what this is about. Do I think Im cute? Well, yeah... I do. And thats something I have never been able to say before. I also think Im leaking girl all over the place, but again, I dont think Im fooling anyone.
So, Ive been noticing that alot of men are more inclined to just chat with me...this is new... its almost uncomfortable because Im not used to socializing much. And surprisingly, not gross ugly men.....that was like 3 months ago. lol.
I used to be real good with women, but it seems they are less inclined to be chatty now... well some anyway. It just seems that things have been turning a 180 in that respect.
Just to be clear (my favorite color) I dont know which way I swing yet.... I always thought I liked girls, but I may be a player for either team ;)
I've noticed more attention from men just because I do not hide myself being who I am. One was bold enough to say that he wanted to have sex with me before and after transition. If only that sexy person was old enough to get into a bar. I mean in his 30's.
At this point in my life I am looking for men or versatile/top mtf. I've not had much luck with cis women.
Men will definitely try and chat with you more. I must admit when they do it with me I just ignore them but then I'm a rude stuck up so and so.
Idk Wat ur goin through considering guys hit on me me before and after hormones and I'm only into 100% straight guys.
I can only speak from my experience, but men are not in low supply for me in any of my looks. I havent transistion but guys like me enough. I think its easy for guys to be into me... Just difficult for love.
Dunno. Never been into women.
Get used to it lol

What is this just chat up from guys thing??? I've not had any of those experiences yet and doubt that I ever will.....I guess I'm one intimidating broad....
"get used to it" ***giggles***
Yeah. I've never really had anyone just start chatting with me, but it has been happening more lately, men and women.
My first thought is still "who are you and why are you talking to me?" though.
Some guy got annoyed with me the other day. I had no idea he was even talking to me and I was ignoring him. I was like, oh, you've been talking to me this entire time, when I finally realized.
Yes! its as if they "demand" my attention now... where before it was ok to be uninterested
yesterday someone was like "Whats that about, Im talking to you and your ignoring me" It sort of surprised me cuz thats a first usually he would laugh and blow it off
If you smile and make eye contact with people which I do a lot more since transitioning especially with other women, a lot them see this as an invitation to initiate more personal social interaction. With guys this may be seen as an invitation to chat you up. As an example if I get on an elevator now with others, people will engage in small talk with me where is in the past the ride would be in silence with me staring at the floor. I attribute this to how much happier and at ease I am since transitioning, that other people see me as more approachable and not some oddly nervous guy that got on the elevator.

This makes alot of sense, I am much more open and out there now...
Cut your hair short. Grow a mustache. Men dont like manly looking women. Maybe put some grease into your hair. No showers. Pee on yourself. Gain 100 lbs. Scratch yourself. Fart.
Men wont find you as pretty.

Add me to the intimidating broad list too lol. I've not had this experience either (yet)..... I'm happily married to my best friend so I'm really not interested but a little validation would be appreciated. ;)
I do wear my wedding ring everywhere I go, so that probably plays into it somewhere too.
i don't know why but i was somewhat shocked at this. Socially men approach me more than ever and i am actually getting hit on at times. I wear a wedding band and although i am an extrovert, i don't think i send those sort of signals at all. Is it because i am putting off a different scent? i don't know it is truly different this year.
Women definitely are more chatty but of course in a different way.
Yep, get used to it
Men started acting strange in that "I'm around an attractive female and I'm feeling awkward" way that guys tend to do about 6 months after I went full time. I've even gotten a bit of it from the guys that I work with that knew the old me prior to transition which is..... awkward.
Guys use a completely different tone of voice when speaking to me now, and of course there is the door opening and other kindnesses that are shown. I've also experienced the way more chatty thing from both men and women.
I remember some of my prior bad experiences with being brushed off by women after finally working my courage up to say something to them so I choose to be different than that - I'll usually respond by chatting back - my theory is that it costs nothing to be nice to someone :)

Actually it does cost you something.
Youre framing your subconcious to be nice ; you associate niceness with that person. So you tend to be nice again to that person. Studies proven that we will repeat a yes to a rdquest if we say yes to a smaller request.

As much as I like what Eva said, this is very thought provoking..... :o
