Here are my FFS before and after CAT scans from January 18, 2016.
Facial Team worked on the following areas of bone:
* Forehead (Type 3)
* Orbital rims
* Jawline
* Chin (advancement and sliding genioplasty)

The forehead work included dealing with three (3) holes in my forehead and numerous tool marks from a previous FFS. The holes, which previously exposed my frontal sinus, are now covered with a tidy little titanium mesh. :)
Wow Eveline,
Thanks for sharing all this.
I had total confidence in their ability to sort out my previous FFS issues, now that's gone up to 200% ... :)

Wow! Sorry you had to go through that. If you don't mind - - why did they put in a metal mesh to cover the holes - - rather than grafting some real bone ?
Eveline,
I am looking at FFS in a few months. I had my initial consult and my surgeon is also suggesting forehead brow bone shaving.
My question is: Did the holes in your frontal sinus cause any specific problems? I live in Florida and I am an avid scuba diver. Did you have any problems related to changes in air or water pressure?
Dani, I had no specific problems other than that area of the forehead not being smooth.
I never thought about diving - I guess if my sinuses were blocked there could be some unpleasant pressure on the forehead skin. Yecch.
Thank you Eveline,
Another lady wrote me a private message with specific comments about diving.
She suggested that a bone graft, by a qualified surgeon, would be the best option.

Maybe not just scuba diving. Even a pressure change in the cabin of an aircraft - - with a blocked sinus - - can be painful. I wonder if it might have the potential to cause problems under the skin of the forehead and cause an infection if there are burr damage and holes in the forehead sinus bone?
