Title: Wonder what it's like
Post by: Larisa on February 12, 2016, 09:56:50 PM
I was today while working wondering how guys are okay with being guys. I know Im not a boy, Im a girl but really I do wonder how they feel so comfortable as they are in a boys body. I wonder what that feels like.

I don't ever want to be a boy. Never but I wonder how. For me, it's totally uncomfortable and if I feel at all like a boy, I feel insane, uncomfortable and very out of it. The last 2 nights, as an experiment, I slept in my old boy clothes. I slept horribly and it was awful. 2nd night was even worse.

I wonder what it's like to be comfortable with your body. I never have.

To be comfortable with your body is to never think about it. When you shower, or look at yourself in the mirror and nothing is wrong. You rarely feel depression and the simple small things in life make you happy.

And, of course, being comfortable in your body doesn't have to just be about gender. Many years ago I knew a young woman who was extremely obese... I was told she was so disgusted by her body she showered in a swimming costume and/or in the dark (I forget which) so she wouldn't have to look at herself. But as far as gender comfort goes I'd say it boils down to not even really thinking about it. It's like 99.999% of people born with two arms and legs are comfortable with having them.
