Title: Advice for enjoying sex?
Post by: Nikola on February 22, 2016, 01:24:41 AM
Hi everyone! A little bit about me: I have been on hormones for nearly 2 years. I'm 20 years old. Taking Cyproterone acetate (blockers) and Progynova (oestradiol)

I'm very happy with my life as a woman. I consider myself a non-op transsexual at this point.
Now when it comes to sex I find things awkward sometimes. It's obviously harder to maintain and achieve erections and orgasm. I'm a complete bottom but it's still kind of disappointing that I can't show how excited I am while having sex. Especially not orgasming makes me feel like I'm not giving me and my boyfriend as much excitement as I could be.
I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I may be able to increase my sexual function? I went to the doctor and got prescribed Cialis but at $160 for like 28 pills it's not something I could take very often.

Should I see an endocrinologist about lowering my doses to a happy medium of sexual functionality and feminization? Thank you girls xx  ;)

Mod edit: No dosages allowed thanks

Loss of sex drive or libido is a common (but by no means universal) byproduct of blockers and estrogen. If you want more oomph in the sex department you should talk to your endo, just keep in mind that reducing dosage may slow or limit any feminisation you are hoping for through HRT. Some people find it is more a case of approaching sex and love making from a different angle, so to speak. Your body is feminising and will respond to foreplay and stimulation accordingly. Sex isn't just up to you, get your partner to help light your fire!

Try switching from Cyprotone to another blocker. If you are on cyprotone then you won't be in the US so maybe Goserelin or another gnrh would be better for you.

Also a vibe might help in 'getting there'.  It will take time to learn how though. Magic wand.  Buy one! :-)

I think I will go see an endocrinologist. I don't want to mess around with it myself. I suppose I am not that experienced sex wise so I'm sure over time I'll find out what REALLY gets me going lol. xx

Yes, always see the doc, never do it yourself.
