Title: HRT and Blood Clot Disorders
Post by: Jessica.Heart on October 10, 2007, 06:00:15 PM
Any experience here?

About four years ago, I was almost killed by a blood clot that went to my lung.  I have been researching transition and HRT and everything says that this stuff causes blood clots.

Am I out of luck?

Any experience here?

What are you're inputs?

That is really a question for your doctor, isn't it?

I am not sure what cause your clot.
But if its a DVT type clot that went to the lungs.
I believe that there is a product for blood clots that can allow you to go on HRT.

Check with a doctor.

don't take it as medical advice but here's my opinion.

Many remain inactive and don't excersice.- it's been known that blood clots can form by being inactive- it happened to a women on a plane once.

I suggest you do some cardio- it will keep the heart strong, blood clean and get you oxygen.

Like others said, go to a doctor and get checked but in many cases it's been known for a fact that 75% of the problems we go to the doc for can be prevented by diet and excersice.
