Are any of you getting that or have you had that?
I've heard of it but I don't need it. I already look like my dad's twin lol.

Most guys don't need it after time on T. For most people, the fat concentration in their face shifts enough that they have a pretty masculine face in the end. I actually can't think of any transguys who have had any facial surgeries.

Me neither, and I can think of plenty of guys who looked incredibly delicately feminine in their "before" T pictures who now have very square faces. I know it seems weird since T can't change bone structure, but apparently a LOT of what makes a face shape is muscle and fat distribution, because T masculinization faces quite a bit. Four months on and there has already been a distinct change for me.
I agree that T makes a face so much more masculine no matter what.

I want a particular type of facial features that I don't have. I'm even going to dye my hair and get color contacts. I have mixed european ancestory but want a stereotypical Germanic or Nordic face.
I want to look similar to these men as much as possible. I naturally have a very delicate female face and small head.

The second one DID have plastic surgery to look like that.
I wish I still had those pictures of me when I was living as a man before.
You need to let the T do the work for a few years and then maybe think of this kind of surgery. I have heard of cisguys getting chin implants so it would be possible. It would be cosmetic though so you would have to save up a lot of money. You also need to be realistic of who you are going to look like and go into it with an open mind. You may find you like your appearance just from the T but if you have those two pictures in your mind then that is the only thing you will want to see in the mirror and will miss out on what you do have. You are not those people and will never look exactly like them.
This was just an example. I don't want to be exactly them. Basically what I want is a square jaw, high cheek bones and I'll think of what else later. I will definitely wait until after all else before I get the face I want. So I take it cosmetic surgery is more expensive than Testosterone treatment and GRS?
One of the current popular threads on our side is somebody who has had some FFS procedures. Depending on the work, it could run $10,000 to $20,000 or more. Have a look at a thread with just a few procedures and not a full alteration.

I wouldn't call what you want "masculinization" surgery but rather just cosmetic surgery. You will likely look plenty masculine after being on T. A super square jaw and high cheekbones and such are just improvements to your face that you would want even if you are cis. Heck, those guys in the photos aren't even all that masculine--the first one has very delicate features that make me think of femininity, like a teenaged Captain America. You might seek out forums on cosmetic surgery to see how much these operations would run, as you would have no need to go to a surgeon that works specifically with trans people to get cheek implants and stuff. They would probably have a better idea of the costs. :)
Cosmetic surgery means that it is not medically necessary so that basically means insurance will not cover it ever. T and GRS can be covered by insurance but some policies deny coverage or have exclusions for trans care. It is a work in progress to get that changed. Both T and GRS have been proven to be medically necessary, the problem is not everyone believes the facts.

Yes. I think the first one is a teenager. I wasn't saying whether they were masculine or not. The way they look is my ideal of beauty standards for men.

I hope this question doesn´t offend you but I´m curious.
How come you are already considering plastic surgery before hormones (I assume you are pre-T)?
Your face is probably going to change a lot with the hormones as it is. It might become really very manly and you might come to like it just as it is.
Just wondering why you want to have the same feautures as those guys. Your own features might look very awesome on you.

I'm considering the plastic surgery after the Testosterone and the GRS. I'll wait and see what I look like after being a male. I wish you could put a female photo somewhere and see what it would look like as a man. Is there a site like that?
Not that I know of, but I know that on Youtube there are a lot of guys who post their transition in video (and photographs). Maybe it would help you to get a generalized idea of how your face might develop. But there´s probably no way to tell exactly what it will look like.

Did you know the guy at the second picture in brown jacket are Anders Behring Breivik? He bombed a building in Oslo, and then he went to a Norwegian island called "Utøya". He killed more than 70 innocent teenagers because he was a extremist. You can google him. He is Norway's only terrorist and massacre man after the WW 2. Many Norwegian are sad after 22. july 2011, because so many children got killed. So please don't share so many pictures of him, because that can upset many people. Especially many Norwegian people.

My brother has a slight square jaw, but not that noticable and could grow a full beard if he wanted.

That I am sorry for. I am an American and didn't know who he was and just liked his looks to use his face as an example. All I read is that he had plastic surgery to look more Nordic.

I'm Norwegian and in the Norwegian news there was about the terror attack everywhere. They even show us the terrorist in the court at TV. If you want to look like him, you may get very harsh reaction, since that man upset many Norwegian people. Even people from other countries.

He reminds me of Richie Cunningham from Happy Days.
Hint: He grew up to be a family man... >:-)
