So my previous post about choosing between Dr Deschamps, Dr Speigel and facial team got locked before I could thank everyone that responded.
Anyways I have decided to go with Dr Deschamps and planning to book surgery in first week of April. For right now, I have decided to have forehead reconstruction, chin contouring and rhinoplasty. I am debating if I should also have jaw contouring, fat transfer and otoplasty done, but am concerned as I will be on my own during recovery. I have no family in US and the only friend I thought I had is apparently not as good of a friend as I had thought.
I would really really appreciate if you guys could provide some advice on recovering on your own. Also I am not local to SF and planning to stay there for 3 weeks. I am feeling extremely sad realizing how lonely and difficult this journey can be. I hope I make it without breaking down.
Also special thanks to myfairlady49 for sending such a descriptive personal message even after my question got locked. I truely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
Also here's my pics in case you wonder what I look

Thanks
I ask how much and ' the cost procedures ? because I know it ' very expensive ... but the dr or still works with him ?
I traveled alone to Buenos Aires in Sept 2015, for extensive bone work and soft tissue work. Would it have been nice to have a travel companion, sure. However my partner did not have 4 weeks of leave, so I went by myself.
Obviously I survived :D .
I kept myself occupied by walking around BA, watching Netflix and web surfing.

Hi Ypsf09,
I wish you a wonderful result.
If Dr Deschamps-Braly is 80% as good as Dr Ousterhout, you will be fine.
Will Dr O be in attendance during surgery?
I am not sure about doing this alone, however as deeiche said, it's possible.
Hugs
Paula

Oh, another important thing I did not mention but really helped. I talked to my partner via Skype almost every day, only missing surgery day and day after. I also talked to my parents every day via SkypeOut. Having video conversations with my partner made the separation easier for both of us.
May your trip go well and be uneventful.
Hi there! I live in San Francisco. Shoot me a private message and hopefully we can get together so your trip isn't lonely :) I've been through what you're going to go through. I know how nice it is to have some company.
