Title: Work out and weight loss tips for a tiny guy
Post by: billie_j on March 12, 2016, 08:10:23 PM
hey everyone

so, for the past three weeks, i have been lifting weights and running.  my goal ultimately is to widen my shoulders, get defined arms (not too bulky), and lose weight to slim my legs and hips, so i can have a masculine silhoulette!

I am not on t, and i am around 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, and i'm fairly curvy (well, im dfab! :/)

any guys who are pre-t who can give me some tips on diet and workout routines? whats good for burning fat on my hips and thighs?  how can i widen my shoulders?

i live on a college campus, so i have access to whatever is in the dining hall, fruit, vegetables, salad, meat, pizza, fries, a mix of things.  so as far as diet goes, i have a somewhat limited selection!

thank you

Here are some pointers from the days when I was overcompensating:

1)  If you want to burn lower body, get a triceps bar, load as much weight on it as you can handle without hurting yourself, and do squats and lunges with it on your shoulders.

2)  If you want to build upper body, get a 20 or 25 pound dumbbell (or as heavy as you can comfortably handle with both hands).  Grip it with both hands, and swing it slowly around like it is a golf club.  I used to do that to build muscles for golf.  The golf swing will work your core and every muscle in your upper body, and doing golf swings with weights will not only rip your core, it will build shoulders and upper arms as well.
