Title: Flat man chest with over 5 years of estrogen
Post by: blossom on March 13, 2016, 06:09:31 PM
I took estrogen for over 5 years and I could go to the beach in man swim trunks and my shirt off and it wouldn't raise any eyebrows. What are your thoughts?

so far 17 reads, but no reply. I really don't know how to feel about my situation with my chest, which I can't really call breasts since I'm as flat as a man. ???

Five year and I was still wearing a AA cup bra. I am not really sure why I bothered with a bra.  When I was in college there was a girl who worked in the computer labs and she was totally flat chested. Some people develop very little.

On the other hand, we don't know where your Endo kept your blood levels. If you received a low dose and your levels were maintained at a low level, development may have been minimal. The amount of hormones you took isn't informative because some people respond well to low dose and others have little response to a transition dose. There are several possibilities and without more information, it's hard to tell.

I am on a high dose of E (IM) and my T is less than 20 ng/dl. I have been on HRT for 2-3/4 years and have  A size boobs. My Mom was DD and sister is D. I will be looking into a BA this fall.

Without blood test results, that information is pretty meaning less.

As for posting, you have 54 post and started 24 threads. I am pretty sure you have made few post on other peoples threads and most of your posts have been on your own threads. It takes time for the person with the right answer to show up and answer your question. One of my threads has over 2,000 views on it and I have only created about 3 threads on the public side of the forum.

Some women are flat chested. You take estrogen so your body is "running on the right fuel" but they're not boobie pills or injections.

On your other question, you'll see most threads generate around one reply for every ten or twenty views, it's perfectly normal. You're at 8 replies, 74 views.

Hugs, Devlyn

You might not be taking enough E for you, your T levels might be too high for you, stress might get in the way of optimal development, genetically, you may be doomed to poor breast growth unless perhaps you produce VERY high levels, you might suffer from cell desensitization due to too steady E levels, if you inject too often.

KayXo, can you explain more about cell desensitization?

Cell desensitization means cells stop responding to a substance such as what happens in insulin resistance due to chronic exposure to the substance. You need a little fluctuation. It's like with everything. You hear a sound at first or taste something, the more of the sound you hear, the more of the taste you get from that something, the less sensitive you become to the sound or that taste. Or how seeing violence on TV again and again, you become immune to it, less sensitive to it, it becomes normal to you. It's a universal principle.

What is your T level?

You need to consistently have reduced T while taking your E. Still some woman do not develop beast tissue to any large degree. Then if it is an issue to you a BA can provide what genetics did not.

I don't know my T level, but I had a castration so my testosterone should be very low.
