Title: Estradiol Questions
Post by: SforaNymph on March 16, 2016, 06:06:52 PM
I found out today from the pharmacy that a new prescription was placed by my gynaecologist for Estradiol which I started a week ago as of today, but this new round of it is one level up from my first dosage. I called the office because I have been tired, constantly hot. My question is it is normal for endro, and gynaecologist to up your dosage a little after a week of being on them?

I never had it happen and I would check with the doctors office.

I did and they upped it cause they said the  tiredness, and hot flashes could be due to the low dose of Estradiol.

Yes, that makes sense. Too little estradiol and/or testosterone can cause tiredness and/or hot flashes. In your case, obviously, increasing E would be best.

Wanted to update what I meant. When I say tired I mean like hard to stay awake tired after sleeping 8 to 9 hours at night. With being hot I notice I will go from hot to cold constantly now. I do see my doctor for a check up here in 2 weeks and 6 days.
