Title: Hello once again.
Post by: jayne01 on March 18, 2016, 02:52:21 PM
Hello everyone,

I am MTF transgender, pre everything from Sydney, Australia. I don't know if I ever will transition to any degree. I have just rejoined this website after leaving for a month or two. I previously was posting on here as jayne01 but I had to leave and deleted my account. The reason I deleted my account was because I was heading down a very dark hole and I needed to put some distance between me and this website. This website has been fantastic, and is a great source of help and support with lots of wonderful people willing to offer their assistance. I apologise for having to just leave and deleting my account, but I needed to figure things out on my own. I know you all had the best intentions with all your valuable replies to my posts. Sometimes, it doesn't matter what other people say, I need the time to figure things out in my own way.

When I rejoined this website, I was able to use the same username I was using before. I don't know if it is possible to link all my previous posts to my current account since I am using the same username.

I'll keep this post short for now. Just wanted to say hi again.

Jayne

Hi, welcome back. We all need to sort things out in our own way so no need to apologise. For leaving. I hope the site can give you the answers and support you want and need. Don't know about re linking your old account, I'll leave that for an Admin to answer.

Welcome back to Susan's place. It's possible to recover the posts from your old account but that's something that Susan has to do. I think they are linked by email address but don't quote me. In any case, I have see a couple of cases where the past posts were recovered but it is a multi step process so you will have to remain around long enough for it to be completed.

Hi Grace & Dena. Thanks for the welcome back. No big deal if the old posts can't be recovered. They still seem to be on the site, just not linked to my current account.

Hi Deborah, thanks. Everything is good. I am in a much better place now than I was just a couple months ago. I'm learning to accept that I am transgender. I thought I was accepting it before, but I don't think I really believed it. Now I am believing it, and my universe hasn't imploded, so it isn't so bad.

Hi Marie, sorry I just disappeared. I wasn't in a good place and was going through some major denial and lots of other unhelpful thoughts. I just needed to give myself some space.

I hope you are doing well.

Totally understandable:)
Am busy house hunting today, will send you a message this weekend:) things have changed for me, not in my situation.... But more I have started to reveal some things within myself. It's one of those, I wish I knew then what I know now!
Speak soon glad you are well and moving to acceptance:) missed our chats.

Good luck with your house hunting. I may not be able to respond to your message until I have made a minimum number of posts, since my account is starting new again. I think I need to make 15 posts before I can send messages. Is that right?

I could waffle on with meaningless posts to get the count up, but I would rather not do that. So if I don't reply to your message right away, it is probably because I a, not able to yet.

Welcome back Jayne.

We all need time to work things out. I went through a phase where I thought being on this site and reading all the transgender stuff was what was making me think I was transgender.

That wasn't the case but it was still something I had to find out myself.

Regarding transitioning - now that's jumping to solution mode and any engineer will tell you, you need to completely understand the issue before applying a corrective action.

Take Care

Thank you for welcoming me back. A few people on here have told me that this can be a wild ride. Wow! They weren't kidding.
