I tried getting the XL-Tall kind, but they were still too short. I think Silkies is where I ordered them from. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
A big part of the problem is that hosiery is no longer in fashion. It's difficult for those of us who are older and want to look nice.
hosiery is no longer in fashion? really? Which country are you from?

USA. Other than leggings (which I don't consider hosiery), I don't see much hosiery being worn anymore by younger women. I see tights once in a while, but not overly frequently. I can't remember seeing pantyhose on someone who wasn't a senior citizen [or as part of a fetish] since the 90s.
well, what if I don't pay too much attention to fashion and wanted to wear them anyway :D Do you have resources?
Sorry dear, in the US, Cindi is right. Pity, too. I think good quality nylons can be so sensuous.

Terri
Edit: Oops, others beat me to it!
Surely someone wears them anyway and can tell me where to look ???

I don't know where to look, but you might consider thigh highs if you can find them. They used to have a bit of sticky elastic that holds them up. I used to like them because they weren't so hot.
Well, at least I got a suggestion, but I need online stores.
Hi Blossom,
Try some of the better brands like Donna Karan, Wolford, or maybe Calvin Klein. I checked and saw Wolford has an XXL size, but I think that may be more about girth than height. Size charts all seem to stop around six feet tall.
As far as an online store, I would suggest starting with Amazon.com.

Afterthought - you may have better luck getting regular stockings and a garter belt. Just a thought.
Hello,
Ummmmmmm I saw this thread and the comments and I MUST comment. I am 28yrs old, live in the USA, and wear pantyhose quite frequently actually. I am wearing black ones now with a black skater dress with white stripes and black flats. I was told, at work that I look very cute by some people( young and old). My friend, 26yr old cis-female also fashion savvy, and I went out the other day for the sole purpose of buying hose. I got mine from Kmart. Not sure of the brand though. I also got some from Target, but got a run the same day:( I'm sure they have them available on their online stores. I sometimes wear them when I go to clubs and many guys try to dance with me. I do oblige some of them ;) I don't want to sound like I am blowing air up my own a** lol but i get plenty of compliments on my outfits from strangers when I am out and have hose on so please don't be discouraged by others comments. Not saying that others are being discouraging :)
PS: I don't find wear them for a fetish or for sexual pleasure :) I have special ones for the bedroom >:-)
I don't wear them often either but the last time I needed a pair I got them at Kohls. They had a pretty wide selection as I remember. It's been awhile but might be worth looking there or on their website.
Hugs,
Meg
My wife and I are big fans of hosiery. I admire and drool over her, she wears them.
She is tall and the only brand we have found that is both, comfortable and nice looking is Wolford Neon 40. We buy them regularly on eBay.

Like others i rarely see hose here in the even chilly Pacific Northwest. I do see tights a lot though and most of my leg wear has gone to tights. I have seen stockings and hose though in tall sizes. I'm 5'9" and about 175 ish for comparison and i ind sizes fairly easy.
Berkshire is a brand that comes to mind.
There are still times i love to put either a black pair of hose on or stockings with a garter belt. I use to wear stockings under jeans just because i wanted to wear them :) Some of that stuff i look back on and smile about.
Thank you everyone. I appreciate the advice.
Was anyone else helped by this post? I was.
