Title: I've got good news!
Post by: KarlMars on March 26, 2016, 12:02:11 AM
In my area I don't have to see a therapist to start hormones. All I have to do is get my primary care physician to refer me to an endo. A good friend of mine who's F2M in the same city just told me this. He was born in another state so he had to get top surgery to have his gender marker changed. I'm not sure how soon I can change my gender marker in the state of Virginia. Does anyone know please?

i did a quick google search for it and came across this:

https://www.whitman-walker.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/VA-Name-and-Gender-Change-Guide-July-2014.pdf (https://www.whitman-walker.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/VA-Name-and-Gender-Change-Guide-July-2014.pdf)

the guide is from 2014, so i hope it is still the same but idk.
