Still no link.

Use the command buttons above the text box. Just above the emojis the first three let you add different types of links.

Chrissie, the subject of the video, is an attorney in New York. She has just come out full time and has just recently had her name change approved. She is a very interesting person and is somewhat a public figure because of some of the work she is involved in.

I think it's great that there are people like this out there but unfortunately image consultants costs really are out of reach for most trans people. It would be great if there were image consultants for the average trans person but they cost money, money most transitioners can't spare.

For me, I spend time shopping at thrift stores, discount stores and closeout stores. You can find some really great bargains if you spend the time going through the racks. For example, I found this dress at TJ Maxx or Ross for only $29.95.

I have found designer clothes at thrift stores that still had the original price tags on them for very little money. Our local Goodwill store will be having their customer appreciation sale offering 50% off there already low prices. It's a great way to experiment with different styles without spending a lot.

I like that video, thanks.

Its kind of obvious in retrospect, but there must be a vast number of trans people there to support a business like that. Relatively few could afford it. On the other hand, its a massive city and being trans cuts across the community.

I can't imagine anyone building a business on that in Australia. Is there anyone doing it in Thailand?

It seems to have evolved out of an image adviser, which are not that rare.

It can really help for example knowing favourable colours and styles. Someone in another thread also recommended it.
So there is really a demand for some kind of image advising.

How does Thai style differ? I've no idea.

Image advising I can understand. There's plenty of people who can afford that. Trans image advising is way more specialized. There are a fair number of well off trans people, but not enough in most places to support a full time business.

Not trying to screw up the continuity of this great thread, but is there a video that shows how to act masculine? I'm kinda against that cause it's quite counterproductive to being myself. But that's just my opinion of it. I used to watch some FTM videos on youtube for this all the time when I first came out. :)
