So I just finished day number 14 on Spiro and I thought I was imagining it at first but now I'm sure. I shaved 14 hours ago and my face feels like it's been only 6. If this keeps up.... I can only hope.
And no, I have not had any Electrolysis nor Laser treatments.
E starts in 58 days, but who's counting.
i was thinking about doing this but i was afraid the lack of any hormones would take an emotional toll? idk. what are the advantages to starting spiro before e?

It's not a problem in the short term, but after a year or two it might start to cause some issues with bone density.
Ms Grace is right about longer term lack of E or T.
In my case, that's what the Doctor ordered. He is one of the experts in Chicago on this topic and has hundreds of transgender patients.
One other thing... my libido is way UP with no "other issues." I had not expected that.

Beg to differ. Even in the short-term, the lack of sex hormones due to only taking Spiro may cause too low energy and thus fatigue, depression/anxiety, difficulty sleeping (insomnia), acceleration of ageing, lack of plumpness in face, body, metabolic problems, increase of fat in the wrong areas (abdominal), memory troubles, low libido/interest in sex, dry skin/hair, hot flashes, night sweats, just overall a sense of something is missing and it doesn't feel good, for most.
E is not only beneficial for bone but helps restore insulin sensitivity to a certain degree (lessening the risk of diabetes), improves cardiovascular health, keeps breast firm and maintains glandular density, keeps skin and overall appearance younger looking (slowing down ageing), gives plumpness and improves fat deposition in female areas, reduces the risk of Alzheimer's and perhaps Parkinson's, reduces colon cancer risk, may even protect against breast cancer risk if the right type of E is taken without harmful progestogens.

Tell the doctor you are seeing amazing results, but are feeling recently very tired at times. Could he put you on E in a quicker amount of time?
Maybe wait to day 25 to suggest that.
Wish I could. He wants to do a full physical before starting E. The next available appointment is the one I have. I do long distance biking. If that starts to be a problem I'll push it with the doc.
However patience is a virtue that I'm trying to learn. The two months will do my mental aspect of all this some good.
I don't understand doctors who prescribe anti-androgens before estrogen. It's not in the patient's benefit. Personally, I would complain for unethical treatment.
The situation is different for individuals entering puberty (or who are prepubertal) who are given blockers because, unlike us, they don't experience the drop in hormones.
For me It was the other way around. I started with Estradiol before adding Spiro.
