I have a question that I can't find a more appropriate place to ask it in, I apologize if this is to adult a question, but here it is.
Here is my question
Right now I get strong dysphoria at times and yet if I orgasm it goes away for a bit..then its back and the cycle continues. I feel all of this is tied to the WRONG hormones in my body. I'm wondering, if I were to take MTF HRT would it fix this problem? has anyone else dealt with this problem? did HRT fix it? I really want this dizzyness, dysphoria to stop it has ruled my life. and wrecked my relationships.
There is no way for us to be sure what it will do for you. However, for many of us, including me, it did make the dysphoria go away.

Because during that time of orgasm and fantasy, you let yourself go! You are at one with yourself...so really, it is a mind thing, more than a hormonal thing.

I feel it has more to do with your mind. Hormones won't drastically change your mind.

Not if you keep on repressing yourself. ;) My 2 cents, this coming from someone on HRT for 12 yrs and post-op for 10 yrs.
HRT would likely help the dysphoria and anxiety but the dizziness is questionable. You should mention this to your doctor the next time you visit one but you might check your blood pressure the next time you pass a machine in the drug store. Low blood pressure can be cause by normal causes or by anxiety. Dizziness can also be cause by ear infections or by issues with the inter ear.
its not really dizziness...I can't explain it, its like my head is light headed, I feel out of phase. Does that make sense? I don't have an ear problem I never have ear problems.
I just know that I can't get the thoughts out of my head or I feel out of phase till I orgasm, then I'm fine, or I sleep...
Anxiety perhaps, as orgasms are relaxing and reduce anxiety due to the release of endorphins, oxytocin and perhaps prolactin.
