"Channel 4 is marking International Transgender Day of Visibility with the UK's first transgender continuity announcer.
Amy Stanning will take over continuity duties on the station at 5pm on Thursday. Her voice will be heard around programmes including Eight Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Alan Carr: Chatty Man."
This is a nice idea and a positive step in the right direction; but wouldn't it be so much better if channel 4 made accurate documentaries about being trans for trans visibility day. So far all they've done is my transgender summer and girls to men; both awful I'm how they portrayed our experiences.
Was it only for one day? how novel ::)
