Hrt for 1.5 months. My sexual preference has flipped from hetero to omg guys are sexy and smell even better. I've been intimate with a great guy that is more than supportive and won't make any decisions for me just listens to my rants. Without going on, and on; I'll ask the important question.
Up until last week I was able to achieve orgasm with him, be it increasingly difficult since I started hrt; I was still able too. Well tonight, despite his continued, inventive, and amazing efforts I was not able to at all. It felt great and sensation isn't dulled but I was not able to get there.
So question.. Is there a point others have had the same experience and at what point does it, if ever, come back? This is really scaring me because I have always enjoyed sex....
Background; mtf 33, HRT for 1.5 months.

When you say orgasm are you referring to ejaculation? Because the longer you are on HRT and if your T levels stay down the more unlikely that is going to happen. That doesn't mean you won't have orgasms any more, it just means you need to let your self and your body be more receptive to other forms of sexual stimulation. Women's bodies experience orgasms in a very different and deeper way but you need to be in touch with that for it to happen, same as for any woman, cis or trans.
Orgasm is very different on HRT. Females and males experience orgasms in different ways.
For a woman, orgasm is a lot more mental. I couldn't have an orgasm without being 100% mentally aroused. As a male, it could be purely physical.
I'd also suggest having your hormone levels checked. If you do not have even a little bit of T in your system, orgasms becomes really, really hard.
For me I never wanted to be aroused being with a man, that was so embrassing & embrassing to have anything between my legs. I only wanted my man to enjoy himself & make him happy. After my GRS I'd love to climax with a man but if not that's OK. Good luck with changing over...enjoying a new life.
Yes by orgasm I guess I mean ejaculation. Up until the point that I couldn't that even changed to a much more clear liquid, but at least there was something. My fear is that there will be no release. Like when ejaculating. It's like I get almost to climax but never get the release. Terribly frustrating for both of us.
Is that how it will be from now on? No release?

Well ejaculation and orgasm can be seperate.
Its only people think it has to be together.
Its possible orgasms become more and more "female", taking longer to achieve but lasting longer and for the whole body. The skin and breasts should also become more sensitive.
Well estrogen well in the female range might help, many endos strive for 200 pg/ml or above. Its possible they start out slow.
Testo in the female range below 60 ng/dl but not unreadable like below 10 could also help.
Fine tuning there might be possible. You might talk with your endo.
In the meantime many people use toys like magic wands or lelo smart wands large .

My libido and ability to climax was definitely weird a little while into HRT. The first month or so everything was fine, then I pretty much lost the physical desire and perhaps the ability. Sensitivity increased to the point that stimulation was painful. Then it changed again and, while still more sensitive, doesn't hurt anymore, and desire came back.
Though it's much, much different than it was pre-HRT. It's almost entirely a mental game now, the orgasms themselves are ridiculously strong, and I pretty much don't get aroused until I decide to become so, excepting the occasional situation that manages to turn me on by accident.
I have started waking up from a sound sleep mid-orgasm though. I kinda figured the whole "wet dream" thing would go away :-\. The wetness aspect has diminished greatly, but with orgasms being so much stronger now it's definitely...an experience to wake up in the middle of one. And then wondering if you made enough noise for everyone else in the house to hear and not really being able to remember :embarrassed:
Try not to worry about it, just be there for your partner and their needs, and don't try to force anything. It will happen eventually, but trying to force it just makes it stressful. Reorient your goal from climaxing to just enjoying the experience while it lasts.
I'm glad to hear it came back for you!!! A bit different, yes.
It frustrating not achieving the anticipated climax that both of us expected. Knowing the change is normal and adapting is what I'll have to explain to myself and to him.
I'm due for another blood test and check up in another week. So we'll see what numbers I get back and I go from there.
What should my number's be at for normal cis women equivalents? Could I PM someone with my dosage to see if I'm on the low end now and where they could adjust to get me where I need? Or just stating the number range I need to be at would be helpful.

You can discuss blood levels in postings just not exact dosages.

Testo in the female range below 60 ng/dl
