Title: Cosplaying video game characters?
Post by: Angelyng357 on April 03, 2016, 04:22:51 AM
Has anyone here ever done that?  I've wanted to, being a huge video game nerd, but since I am kind of currently stuck playing a manly man in everyday life, I can't cosplay as the characters I would want to (nor the funds or fashion knowledge, along with a laundry list of other issues). It's something that sounds fun to do. thoughts?

You could do it at Comic conventions, gaming conventions, and anime conventions!
crossplay is pretty common in these scenes. Also, I really don't think it matters what you look like, but the quality of the costume does matter. The best one i've seen so far was a old buff guy cosplaying as a k-on character. he 10/10 nailed it  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I plan on cosplaying Rachel from blazblue or someone from castlevania sometime in the future.

it's actually not a bad idea

I was Yuna from Final Fantasy for a party once.  I was quite pleased with the costume I put together, though it wouldn't impress serious cosplayers.
Once I've been here long enough to get image posting privileges, maybe I'll post a photo.

Not yet! Overwatch has given me lots of inspiration though!
