I plan on getting FFS and BA in summer in a different state so I'm flying there and back. My question is is if anything is different traveling home after surgery? I think the only thing I'm nervous about is dealing with going home after surgery because my ID still says male with my old picture and and I'm gonna look crazy with bruises everywhere. I know that you can get a doctor letter so you don't have to wait in security is that correct? Has anyone traveled after plastic surgery did you do anything different ?
Yes they give you a letter afterwards, it should be fine especially within the US.
