Title: Voice Feminization Options
Post by: SforaNymph on April 05, 2016, 01:24:22 PM
Has anyone tried kathe perez's voice feminization 30 day crash course for $127? If so was it easy to follow and did you get good results? Also does anybody know any free resources on how to do voice feminization?

Thanks.

I've been using that for 2 months now. I would say I'm having good success. It does require that you practice, practice, practice. I have a very busy schedule so I generally only get 1 session 15-30 minutes a day.

At 2 months in I have days when the voice sounds pretty good and other days that I just can't get the pitch up and by the end of the day it always drops off. If I could get in 3-4 practice sessions a day I think that would speed thing up.
I do always have to concentrate on what I'm doing but it is getting to feel more natural.

There are 2 other girls in the support group that I go to that have used this program. There voices are very passable. They both took 10-11 months to get there.

I like the program, I would recommend it.

Do you have a sitemap ingrained in your brain? I keep seeing you referencing other posts really quickly. It's impressive!

i tried it no results ...too technical for me I am not musically inclined... I tried the dvd finding your female voice too, same same no effect.... The older cd from Melanie Ann Philiips is easier to understand basic ....and the you tube videos from different girls were helpful too... I am more visual and tactile ,I think I am what you call in music tone deaf ...so I researched and read a lot of stuff about tongue and jaw placement when speaking and that gave me results after then My voice never gets clocked even on the phone but it is a conscious effort,I still slip sometimes and I forget when I get so engrossed in a discussion hence the voice surgery with Dr. Haben.... Still recovering but seems promising, the explosiveness and resonance is gone and the pitch is higher.....I researched and researched and kept notes and analyzed and put them together what helped me is keep in mind to place your tongue forward and up towards your palate and touching your molars when you speak like when you say "keeeeeys"..... Eeeeeeee....lips smiling position and jaw a little forward.... The smaller and tighter the space/cavity the higher the pitch and the lesser the resonance.... Hope that heps a little :) goodluck!

I bought her CD years ago fairly cheap but the most helpful amongst the ones for sale...but my own research on tongue , jaw and lips placement/ positioning helped me the most..... Just my opinion that most are a waste of money and hard to understand.

Aside from my wife telling me when I was hitting the sweet spot, the most useful guide for me came from ->-bleeped-<-. Search for mtf_voice_training_regimen to find it. I found that explanation made the most sense to me and I did try the Melanie Anne Phillips stuff and EVA first without luck too.

Thanks.

I have Kathe's videos I downloaded 4 from Play Store. They were $4.50 each. They are somewhat rudimentary but then so is live training actually. They have some interactive components where you are trying to match pitch, resonance.   There are several tutorials on You Tube  look up "voice training mtf" If any one instructs you to talk in a falsetto voice, turn it off and go to the next one. I also recommend downloading "Da Tuner" from Playstore.  It is a guitar tuner but can monitor any noise. Including your voice. When using the device you want to shoot for F3 165htz. Da Tuner is free and really helps focus your pitch. Before you know it you'll be doing pitch glides and practicing resonance and hitting your target. Then you can start pronouncing simple sounds which progresses to rhyming words starting with an m sound. After a few weeks of practice you add the m words with sentences of your own. That's where I am right now. I hope on my next appointment I begin having short conversations mirroring womans interviews, based on nuances such as crossing legs, talking with hands, playing with hair, holding eye contact, making contact with the person you are talking to. In other words, being girly. I am so excited I have this opportunity.
