'Transgender people are being removed from a bill to protect other queer Americans from job discrimination, known as ENDA (Employment Non-Discrimination Act). Out gay Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi side with colleagues who believe ENDA stands a better chance of passing if limited to lesbians, gays and bisexuals.'

I'm torn. Both sides' strategies have merit..................15%
Definitely not! Gays and lesbians can't afford the risk...30%

Seems the torn crowd is becoming more pronounced.
Jeeze, it's a good thing I want to get into politics. I'm tired of TG people having poor representation.
I say we get our own bill! I'm tired of riding to coattails of the homosexual community when it comes to political action! After all, we're hardly alike. We just get beat up by the same jerks.
We may not have all the same goals as the GLB, but theres an old saying...
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.....
Alone, due to the normal TS/TG unwillingness to step forward, we are visably an extreem minority... Unless that changes, we would stand alone with out the visable numbers to defend ourselves... by sideing with them we gain needed support... The silent majority of TS/TG people need to get over themselves and stand and be counted... if we give up our aninimity, give up our "Stealth" life, our comfort zone... we could make life infinatly better and more secure for those that follow us... Yes i am a real woman... but damnit, I want my rights to.. and if that means sticking my neck on the chopping block so be it.
