I am not on hormones yet but I've been working hard at losing weight, and have been dressing andro for non work outings and full femme around the house.
We were getting ready for a large social gathering with people who I am not out to. The dress code was business casual, and I planned to wear a golf shirt and khakis. I dithered over whether to wear a pair of my women's skinny twill trousers from Aeropostale, and finally decided to play it safe.
I put on a men's golf shirt and a pair of my old male khakis. My wife took one look and said, "Can you please go put on a pair of your skinny khakis? Those look terrible on you." She also said, "Those are so full they look like a long skirt on you." She mentioned it three times.
So I changed to my skinny twill trousers from Aero, we went to the event and I even got a compliment on how good I looked.
Always nice to get a compliment!!
